Our team of florists looks forward to welcoming you!
We are available from Monday to Friday 8.00 to 18.30 and on Saturdays 8.00 to 16.00, at Moserstrasse 9 in 3014 Bern, by phone +41 31 332 62 00 and by e-mail info@maarsen.ch
We source the freshest possible flowers from suppliers we trust. We do not buy at the cheapest places, but at those with the shortest possible delivery routes, this keeps the flowers fresh. We guarantee that our bouquets will stay fresh for at least five days. For biological reasons, this guarantee cannot apply to certain delicate summer specialties such as anemones, poppies, lilacs, outdoor and scented roses, zinnias, dahlias, sweet peas and lotus; to the offers ➤
We are a team of young and young-at-heart florists with a commitment to creating aesthetically and professionally perfect floral works. It is our goal to bring joy into the world with flowers and to put a smile on people's faces. So that our craft has a flourishing future, we train apprentice florists and are active in the Swiss vocational training structures; to the team photos ➤
Sandra Maarsen, owner and managing director of Blumen Maarsen AG, is a Swiss-certified master florist and has worked in her profession in Switzerland, the Netherlands, Ecuador and the USA. In 2008 she took over the business from her father, Christiaan Maarsen, a Dutchman who made Switzerland his home. The location of Blumen Maarsen, Moserstrasse 9 in Bern, was formerly Blumen Bracher, where Christiaan Maarsen worked from the 1970s; he then took over the business in 1985 and renamed it Blumen Maarsen. Sandra Maarsen continues to cultivate her Dutch roots, speaks the language and also enjoys shopping for flowers at flower markets there; to the historical photos ➤
