Data Privacy Statement

We treat all data of customers and flower recipients confidentially and only pass them on to third parties (e.g. Fleurop) if required by order processing. Credit card data are processed encrypted and automatically deleted after order execution. We do not send unsolicited emails. We use cookies with restraint and for the following purposes: saving your language choice, caching form data in the order process, controlling your login to your Maarsen account; we receive impersonal cookie data when you click on a Maarsen advertisement / post on a third-party site such as Google or Facebook. If we embed third-party services on our pages, e.g. YouTube, these services may store cookies without us having any influence on it; we embed YouTube with extended privacy protection (youtube-nocookie.com), the Facebook Like button in inactive form (two-click method); we load the fonts from Google. According to Google, no personal data is collected and no cookies are set. You can define how your browser should handle cookies in the browser settings. In order to be sufficiently visible and successful as a business on the Internet, there is almost no alternative but to advertise your own Internet site. We do this primarily on the pages of the Google search engine. We and Google (and when applicable other advertising partners) see when you click on an advertisement. In order to assess the effectiveness of our advertising activities on Google, we use the Google Tag Manager (GTM). We have commissioned the agency Werbung Online Sutter GmbH in Thun to manage and evaluate our advertising on the Internet. Personal data flows neither to Sutter nor to Google, although Sutter has manual access to the store backend. Google writes about GTM: [It] collects certain aggregated data for tag triggering with Google Tag Manager. This data does not contain IP addresses or measurement IDs that are linked to a specific person. To protect our web forms from automated bulk filling, we use the visible version of Google reCAPTCHA version 2 when needed, data flows to Google in the process. The need is calculated by our store software, so reCAPTCHA is only used if these calculations indicate the need for an additional heuristic Turing test. Through this two-step process, we achieve that you will not encounter reCAPTCHA in the majority of our web forms, which increases the privacy of your data. We assess the totality of the data protection we practice and the technologies we use and the way they are used, with regard to the European Union (EU) General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), to be fully compliant, in general and with regard to the so-called Cookie Directive, the latter without requiring consent for the use of cookies via a so-called cookie consent banner. We thank you for the trust you have placed in us. If you have any questions about privacy at Blumen Maarsen, please do not hesitate to contact us. Blumen Maarsen AG Sandra Maarsen
